The school, founded in 2004 in an area of the Cidade da Luz Complex and with the partnership of the City Hall of Salvador, is named after one of the institution's spiritual mentors, Friar Carlos Murion, and has a capacity of 300 students.
It operates in the morning and afternoon shifts, with enrollments according to the school calendar, with 7 classrooms, a multipurpose room (reading, computer lab ...), a boardroom and a secretariat, as well as men's and women's toilets and kitchen . It has ample outdoor space for student recreation, including a multi-sport court.
The School participates in the Project Living Pituaçu in Cidade da Luz, offered by Cidade da Luz itself; also of the "Saúde na Escola" and "Mais Educação" Programs.
Carlos Murion attends 150 full-time students in the “Mais Educação” Program, where the Literacy and Mathematics, Education and New Technologies, Futsal, Theater, Chorale and Karate workshops are developed.
